MEET OUR ARTIST
Having apprenticed with Paul Colin in Paris, France and then traveling the world working as a seaman aboard ships, Jean Claude Rovira has been painting for over 70 years. Jean infuses his work with a melange of French heritage, nautical life and philosophy. Boldly simplifying his subject matter, his work is sought after for it’s strong shapes, striking colors, highly stylized forms and caricature.
